Family Home Evening

K- I have to admit that I am having a “mid-life” with my kids growing up. I love them little! They kiss us, let us hold them, talk our ears off, sing on the potty, and they think Mike and I are SUPER cool. Well Karly is just starting to “out grow” us……………tears in my eyes.

Well- I am starting to see that there is a wonderful flip side to the growing process (Mike has always seen this). My kids do FHE all by themselves (there are lots of good things; this is just one that I have recently learned to love). The lessons are wonderful and very spiritual- they have brought us to tears many times feeling the spirit. It was Karly’s turn and her Lesson was on “Feeling Christs love by serving others”- she did this all on her own. It was great! The best part was at the end of the lesson she wanted the kids to feel Christs love by serving Mike and I. So she had all the kids give us pedicures…… Mike and I LOVED it! Notice Jack is off playing with trucks or something….feet are NOT his thing!
