My nest is EMPTY! (well only for 5 hours a week but still). Jack started Pre School today and was so excited. We went and bought him a “big boy out-fit” yesterday and had our special day all planned out. Well- Mike has been gone for almost a week and Jack really missed him. Mike got him some cool basket ball shorts from BYU and Jack was thrilled- well you know that of course “mommy’s choice” and “daddy’s choice” are not going to be the same. SO……. Jack went with the “daddy choice”. As excited as he was he missed me (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh- I didn’t think the day would ever come). When I got to school to pick him up he was crying and I watched him threw the glass as my heart was breaking and falling onto the floor. I wanted to run in and grab him. He was fine- but he isn’t that excited about Thursday. He goes with 2 of his BFF’s so that helps a ton.
Mom: Jack did you like school today?
Jack: Yes I did but you took so much longer to get me.
Mom: Well you need to go to school like the girls to get bigger and smarter.
Jack: not that school mom- their tables are chairs are tiny and tiny- I don’t need to go there.

Rachel might become a drop out of school already! She cries when I take her so today my frined took her and she did fine. When I picked her up she started crying and said she doesn't want to go to school. Well see how she does the rest of this month!!
That is so funny. My friend is taking him on Thurs and I just told her "Good Luck" with that one. Jack loves her so that helps!
What a big boy! I can't believe your youngest is in pre-school! Hooray... now you have a wee bit of freedom! It's seriously just enough time to run 1 errand... but you've got to take what you can get, right! Cute pictures! I'm surprised he didn't take his fishing pole with him! Hahaha! I hope Thursday goes well!
Jack just continues to crack me up! I love his reasoning. Hey...we loved having your hubby up here for a little while. Those two were total Bobsy twins...they even had matching shirts! (well...color was matching). We just miss your family a lot!!
How cute!!!! Jacob goes to Holly's school and LOVES it....he wants to go everyday. It makes me a little sad...I know he has to grow up, but not this fast!!!!
We should go to the park one day or do something...give me a call!
