Jack hates when I am upset in any way so he is always trying to make me smile if I am getting after one of the kids for something. Well the other day I got after him for something (I don’t even remember what it was about).
Jack: Mom come outside quick I drew you a picture on the sidewalk to make you happy.
Mom thinking in my head: I don’t remember getting the sidewalk chalk down hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Then as I walk outside I see what he has done
Mom: Jack what did you do?!!!!
Jack: Mommy, I just wanted to make you happy so I drew you a mammoth with one of your “special markers”
Ah- that would be a permanent marker
Mom: JACK!!!!
Okay- the thought comes to me as he starts to tear up- I CAN”T GET MAD!
Mom: Thanks Jack- now you get to clean it up.
