I am not one of those “fun moms” that goes all out on Halloween. I actually really dislike this holiday- I only dress my kids up because:
A: They are so darn cute
B: I don’t want them to think that I have a “bad attitude” about everything
C: I don’t need to give them any more reasons to be in counseling when they are older than needed
Well last night after they were done “trick-or-treating” they got chairs out and sat with me on the porch to hand out candy. One of my friends came over and I got out of my chair to go talk to her. As I did her husband proceeded to take his kids to see my kids and get their candy and talk to them.
We finished talking and as they started to walk away her husband was LOL.
Me: OH you are laughing hard- do I dare ask what my kids told you?
Rob: I asked them what they all were for Halloween and then I asked them what you were.
Me: AND?
Rob: They said you were a big mean grumpy mom that yells.
Me: NICE! I did tell them that what my “costume” this year.
I did tell my kids that when we went to our ward party and Jack’s response was, “but mom you need to go to Wal-Mart and get a costume”. Well obviously the girls thought I picked up my costume!

That's funny! This year, I was a big mean grumpy pregnant mom that yells. We must be related! ;-)
