1 German chocolate cake mix
½ C. evaporated milk
¾ c. melted butter
½ bag milk chocolate chips
14 oz pkg caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
Mix cake mix, ½ c. milk and butter together. Spread ½ of mixture into glass 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 min. Remove. Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked crust. Melt caramels with 1/3 c. milk (or… check out my caramel recipe below. I didn’t have the caramels so I just made my own so I didn’t have to run to the store). Pour caramels over chocolate chips. Pat out remaining cake mixture and place on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min. Remove and refrigerate until cool.
