The kids were outside swimming the other night and I laid out a stack of towels for them and went to get the showers ready for them. I then gave instructions on who is to go where to get showered up.
Mom: Livy you are dripping, go back and dry off.
She keeps walking as though she didn’t hear me.
Mom: GET BACK HERE AND DRY OFF!
Keeps walking
Mom: I am going to put you in time out if you don’t get back here.
A sweet voice from behind me says-
Livy: Mom I am outside drying off, please don’t put me in time out.
It was Jack! I guess I forgot to put out his BATMAN towel!
