Jack and the TIGER!
I have to admit that my poor son is deprived of dress ups. With 3 older sisters and a million Halloween costumes he has his choice of pretty much any character that wears a dress (Mike is grateful that jack HATES the dresses and won’t even go near them).
He is at that age when they LOVE dress ups but the only one he will wear is a tiger, very warm and plush, 3 sizes too small, and a pain in the neck to put on. HE WAERS IT ALL DAY LONG! We will be building our boys dress up selection asap.
Jack was outside riding his bike (it was over 100 degrees) and his face was bright red and he was so sweaty. I begged him to take it off but he refused!
Mom: Jack are you hot?
Jack: Yes mom, it is a lot much hotter today.
Mom: It’s because you have that tiger costume on. If you take it off you will ride your bike faster.
At this point I am sure all the neighbors question the welfare of my child.
Jack: No mom it’s because the sun is on fire today

We have that same costume and would have the same problem except I finally just put it in the attic. I have to say it is nice and warm on Halloween in the midwest!
I laughed at loud at this one. The best is Jack's explanation as to why it is hot.."the sun is on fire today" ..Classic.
